How the Dual-Carousel Works
A lower carousel holds the ceramic crucibles; an upper carousel holds their covers. During a run, the two carousels join and separate automatically to place and remove crucible-covers inside the hot furnace — without ever opening the furnace door.
Because the furnace never needs to be manually opened mid-run, samples aren’t exposed to sudden air ingress or oxidation, and volatile-matter results no longer depend on how quickly an operator can lift and replace a lid by hand. Both carousels also move to weigh crucibles directly on the furnace balance, so the whole test — loading, heating, weighing and unloading — runs unattended, including overnight.

To be arranged by the customer: a PC with Intel Core i5 or later, Windows 10, 6GB RAM (min.), 500GB HDD (min.), 6 USB ports, a DVD writer and a 19″+ LED monitor, plus compressed air/O₂/N₂ gases and regulators for oxygen, nitrogen and air.
Long-Term Ownership
Every electric and pneumatic part is available on the open market, with no dependency on a single supplier — though Multiflo Instruments maintains a complete parts and service department for customer convenience. Magnetic sensors are unaffected by dust, and the robust construction keeps vibration to a minimum.
This TGA platform is already relied upon by major power, steel, mining and research institutions across India.
